NECKLACES: Liquid Copper Necklace
The Copper wire in this necklace really does seem to flow, as though it were a high-viscosity liquid and not a metal.
The focal point is a tightly woven cluster of color made up of freshwater pearls, glass, and semi-precious stones in periwinkle, lavender, yellow, pink, and indigo.
The necklace hangs gracefully, with the centerpiece suggesting a bird-like form, and numerous strands of clear glass beads dangle from the centerpiece like iridescent plumage.
The necklace has an intrinsic luminosity, and an unsettling 'aliveness' in it's flowing movement- as if it were neither completely insentient nor entirely solid.
